XKGLOW is not responsible for any fines that you may receive while using the light kit.  This kit is for off road use only.  The installation of this kit should be installed by a licensed professional. The improper installation of this kit will void all warranties.

1. Test the functions before starting installation: Connect light strings and DRL lamps to the controller; Insert the controller into 12V car power socket; Push the red switch and then the flash mode button to change patterns.

2. Unplug the controller and disconeect all lights after all functions are checked. Prepare for installtion.

3. Select the place where you want to locate the lights. Lay each string on the ground below desired mounting locations as the diagram. The 4-section LED strings are designed for the left and right sides of the vehicle. The 3-section string which has 6ft wires at both ends needs to be placed in the front. Connect the wires to test if they can reach the controller and function appropriately. For DRL lamps, find the appropriate mounting locates, and then use screws to mount the brackets. Fix the lamps to the brackets and adjust angles. Firmly tighten all screws.


4. Thoroughly clean all mounting surfaces. Peel off the film on the back of each LED tube and stick the tubes onto mounting surfaces. Drill a hole through the end tab and mounting surfaces. NOTE: Make sure you do not mount the light strings to any hot surfaces or moving parts, such as exhaust, drive train, motor, or gas tank. Secure ALL tubes with provided screws at both ends. (NOTE: Please make sure BOTH the double side tape and screws are used as shown below to firmly mount all light strings.  The double side tape is NOT designed for mounting the lights permanently. Tubes might fall WITHOUT applying screws to each tube.) 

5. Connect the lights and wires to check if all lights function appropriately. Turn off the kit.

6. Peel off the protector film of the waterproof tape. Tightly wrap it around all connections. The waterproof tape MUST be used to protect the connectors against water/moisture corrosion.

7. Use the provided wire clips and zip ties to securely mount the wires. Clean the mounting surfaces before using clips. NOTE: KEEP THE WIRES AND TUBES AWAY FROM HOT PARTS OF THE VEHICLE. (Engine, exhaust, and etc.) Make sure the working environment of the wires and light tubes is under 125 degree Fahrenheit.
