Single Color Series - Pods
Q1: Some of my single color pods do not light up when installing?
A1: Our single color pods have a Positive and Negative wire, make sure you have the wires in the right orientation. Wire with the gray dashed line is the Negative wire.
Single Color Series – Remote Control Box
Q1: I wired the system up according the directions and the controller is not controlling the lights?
A1: Check the fuse.
A1.2: Make sure the key fob’s battery is good. You can do this by pressing any button on the key fob to see if the small blue LED on the key fob lights up. If not, replace the battery using a 12A 27V battery.
A1.3: Using ONE good pod (that has been checked when directly touching the POS+ wire to the POS+ side of the battery and NEG- wire to the NEG- side of the battery) wire the controller directly to the battery. White Wire to POS+ side of battery and Black Wire to NEG- side of battery. Then connect the RED wire to the POS+ side of the pod and the Yellow wire to the NEG- side of the pod. Test for function. If the controller still does not work, return the controller (and the key fob) for a replacement. If the controller works when wired in this method, the controller and key fob are good and there must be a problem with your switch.
Q2: Can I wire the controller without the provided switch?
A2: Yes, you can but, the system will draw a small amount of power for your battery even when not in use. The draw is so small that it will not affect a good batteries performance for several weeks or months depending on the battery type. If you do wire the controller without the switch, you will want to disconnect the system if you do not plan to ride the bike for more than a couple weeks just to be safe.
Q3: Is the Controller 100% waterproof?
A3: No, the controller needs to be tucked into the battery compartment or other weather protected area.
Single Color Series – Remote Key Fob
Q1: My key fob does not seem to be working how do I know if it’s sending a signal to the controller?
A1: If the small blue LED on the key fob lights up when you press any button, this means the battery is good.
Q2: I have to hold the key fob really close the bike before my key fob will control my lights, I thought the description said I could use the key fob up to 80 feet or better?
A2: Check the battery and replace if the small blue LED appears weak or not as bright as normal.
A2.1: Make sure the antenna on the controller is pulled out and extended as much as possible, it may even help to have the antenna extended out from the battery compartment.
Q3: Is the Key Fob 100% waterproof?
A3: No, the key fob needs to stay dry.
Q4: Why is my key fob’s small blue indicator LED flickering when I press and hold the button?
A4: Take the screws off the back of the key fob and remove the battery. Then push the spring tab that holds the battery in place, in slightly. It does not take much so be careful. Insert the battery and that should solve the problem.
7 Color Series - Pods and Strips
Q1: Can I use both the 7 color PODs and 7 color strip in the same kit?
A1: Yes, they are compatible and will work together.
Q2: Some of my pods/strips do not light up when installing?
A2: Please test each pod and strip connected directly (don’t use splitters or extension wire) to the Control Module before installing the kit to your bike. This test will tell us if the light is bad.
Q3: Can you tell me why several lights in my kit are displaying different colors than the rest of the kit.
A3: Most of the time, this is a result of moisture in a connection somewhere. Best place to start looking is the connection right in front of the affected area. Remove the tape and disconnect, allow to air dry for several hours and then put the connection back together and test. If you are still having trouble take the first affected light in the series out of the series and test again. If the remaining lights work properly we will replace the defective light. If still under warranty.
Q4: Can I use 15 color strips with a 7 color kit?
A4: No, you can only use the 7 color strips or pods, as they use a 4 pin connection whereas the 15 color kit uses a 5 pin connection.
Q5: Can I buy the WiFi controller and install this with my 7 color kit?
A5: Yes, the 7 color pods and strips will work with our WiFi controller. If you purchase the WiFi controller on our site, it comes with an ON/OFF switch and the wiring harness necessary to connect to your 7 color kit.
7 Color Series - Controller
Q1: What is the maximum number of pods/strips my 7 color controller will handle?
A1: The 7 color controller will handle up to 50 strips/pods.
Q2: Can I get a spare remote for my controller?
A2: Yes, they are available on our website under Control Module category.
Q3: After installing my kit (per instructions) my kit will not light up, when I connect the power the entire system will flash quickly and then it does nothing, what am I doing wrong?
A3: You may not be doing anything wrong. This most likely is the result of a defective control module. The best way to test this is to wire the controller and ONE light pod/strip directly to the control module and connect the module directly to the battery, DO NOT use the ON/OFF switch. Black wire from Control Module to NEG- side of battery and White wire from Control Module to the POS+ side of the battery. Test with key fob. (NOTE: the key fob has a small blue LED that lights up when you press any button. Make sure this is working. If not try replacing the battery and test again.) If you are still having issues, the controller must be bad and we will replace it for you.
7 Color Series - Key Fob
Q1: My key fob has a mind of its own, do you have instructions on the key fob functions.

1.) turn on (off) system with D.
2.) press C for the color...keep pressing the C button until you find the desired color CONSTANTLY ON.

Q3: How do I connect two controllers to one device and control the lights partially or together?
A3.1: When two controllers are close to each other, only one “LED light” WiFi entry will show up in the setting. Connect to it.

Open the app, go to the “gear” icon at the lower left corner. You will see two controllers appear in the list. The one that is grey and not editable is what is currently under control. User can tap the other to switch between two systems. If user wants to control both controllers at the same time, turn on the “Link Controllers” option at the bottom. Now both kits will be under control simultaneously. With this approach, user can partially control or turn on/off the lights, and still be able to control the entire kit if they want to.

NOTE: The answer above also applies to the situation when two guys have the bikes/boats/cars parked together and wants to control their own bike.
