Recently, we have been made aware of an issue with Bluetooth connectivity on the XKCHROME app when used on Android 13 devices. We looked into the issue and found that the problem is occurring due to an Android 13 bug. There is no technical or physical fault with the XKCHROME controller or the app.

Note: This issue does not affect Android devices with software prior to the version Android 13 or other non-android devices.

Our developer team has informed us that Google/Android has already fixed the issue. A pre-released patch was published to developers and we have verified that the issue/bug is solved by the Google/Android team. Please refer to the video below for more info:

As you can see in the video, the Bluetooth connectivity issue is solved.

Update: Google has rolled out the new update for Android 13 on 5th Dec 2022. We have verified that the issue is now fixed in the new android 13 update. All app users (except Samsung users) should be able to connect XKCHROME app to the controller without any problem

We are still not sure when this update will be available for Samsung users. We expect it to be soon since it's already out for other devices. Stay tuned for more information.

We recommend you update your android device with the latest version. In case, you are still facing the issue then please email us at xk@xkglow.com
