Surprise BRZ Build: Full XKmax Underglow & Interior Fiber Optic Install
Case has been a loyal XKGLOW enthusiast, eyeing the perfect setup to make his Subaru BRZ stand out. He was already planning a standard underglow install, but we decided a "standard" build wasn't enough for a fan like him.
With a little help from his parents and a "fake" trip to the mechanic, we hijacked the car to perform a total lighting transformation using our flagship XKmax family of Bluetooth App-Controlled Lights.
The Build: Professional Grade Ambient Lighting
To achieve a seamless, high-end look that flows from the street to the driver's seat, we utilized two of our most powerful kits:
- XKmax Car Advanced Kit: This provided the foundation with vibrant, ultra-bright underglow and synchronized LED footwell lighting.
- XKmax Fiber Optic Kit: We integrated side-firing fiber optics across the dashboard and door panels, creating a "wraparound" ambient glow typically found in luxury supercars.
Together, these two kits completely transformed the car’s presence—inside and out—bringing a high-end custom lighting setup to life.
The Surprise
From picking up the car, to planning the install, to revealing the final result, the entire process was kept under wraps from Case. With the help of his parents, he was thinking that his car was at the mechanics... but little did he know, we were hooking him up with some sweet upgrades.
What started as a simple idea quickly turned into a full experience: a hands-on install paired with a surprise reveal that made the final moment even better.
And of course, we kept things fun and lighthearted throughout the entire build—because that’s what car culture is all about.
The Result
Not only was Case unsuspicious, but he was completely surprised to see his own BRZ lit up. The finished setup added a clean exterior glow paired with a fully customized interior ambiance. The combination of underglow and fiber optic lighting gives the car a unique personality, especially at night.
Most importantly, Case got the upgrade he wanted… just not in the way he expected.
