What Does “Limited Lifetime” Mean?
XKGLOW warranties its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser’s ownership of the product.
Select products are covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase, as specified at the time of sale or on the product listing.
This warranty:
- Applies only to the original purchaser
- Is non-transferable (If a product is purchased as a gift, the recipient may claim warranty coverage by registering for warranty within 90 days of the original purchase date.)
- Requires valid proof of purchase
“Normal use” refers to operation under conditions consistent with the product’s intended design and within recommended specifications.
What’s Covered
This warranty covers the following under normal use:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- LED failure under normal operating conditions
- Control module malfunctions
- Wiring defects
Coverage applies only to products that are:
- Properly installed
- Used as intended
- Operated under standard on-road and light off-road conditions
This warranty covers defective XKGLOW products only. It does not cover any labor costs, diagnostic fees, towing, vehicle downtime, third-party repair charges, or any other expenses incurred in connection with a warranty claim. XKGLOW strongly recommends contacting our support team before seeking outside repair assistance.
What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Improper installation
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Physical damage, including impacts or collisions
- Water intrusion caused by incorrect installation or sealing
- Power surges, incorrect voltage, or improper wiring
- Product modifications, disassembly, or unauthorized repair
- Normal wear and tear, including fading, discoloration, or lens wear
- Cosmetic conditions that do not affect performance
- External factors beyond XKGLOW’s control (fire, flooding, natural disasters, vehicle electrical failures, etc.)
Off-Road Use Disclaimer
XKGLOW products are engineered for performance; extreme conditions can accelerate wear. This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Deep water submersion
- High-speed debris impact
Finish & Powder Coat Warranty
Powder coated surfaces and other exterior finishes are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase.
This coverage applies to defects such as premature peeling, cracking, or flaking under normal use and proper care.
Product Use & Application Limitations
Products used in commercial, industrial, fleet, or heavy-duty applications are limited to a 5-Year Warranty from the original purchase date.
Product-Specific Warranty Terms
While most XKGLOW products are covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty, select products are covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase.
Products with a 5-year warranty will be clearly identified:
- On the product instructions
- On the product listing or website
- At the time of purchase
In the event of any conflict, the warranty period specified for the individual product will take precedence over this general policy.
Condensation & Environmental Exposure
Minor condensation inside lighting products is normal due to heating and cooling cycles. This is not a defect.
Excessive moisture caused by seal failure may be covered upon inspection.
Warranty Claim Process
To submit a claim:
- Provide proof of purchase
- Submit photos or video showing the issue
- Provide product details
- Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from XKGLOW before shipping
XKGLOW reserves the right to:
- Request additional information or troubleshooting
- Require return of the product for inspection
- Request proof of proper installation
- Deny claims that do not meet warranty terms
Resolution
At XKGLOW’s discretion, we may:
- Replace the product with the same model or, if that model has been discontinued, a comparable product of equivalent or greater performance and value, at XKGLOW's sole discretion. No cash refunds will be issued in lieu of replacement.
- Replace individual components as needed.
Shipping Policy
- Customers are responsible for shipping products to XKGLOW for evaluation.
- XKGLOW covers return shipping on approved claims within the contiguous 48 U.S. states.
- International customers are responsible for all shipping costs.
Authorized Sellers
Warranty applies only to products purchased directly from XKGLOW or authorized dealers. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers are not eligible.
Warranty Limitations
- Does not cover labor for removal or reinstallation.
- XKGLOW is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
- Coverage is limited to the original purchase price.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, any implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the term of this warranty.
Some states do not allow certain limitations; your legal rights may vary.
Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
