Four lit rings turn a parked car into the one people walk over to ask about. What that costs depends on the ring line you choose. XKGLOW's four-ring kits for cars run from $362.99 to $719.99, at list prices at the time of writing.
The kit is only part of the bill. Key fobs, extension wires and controller upgrades are sold as options. Install time is the other part, and each of XKGLOW's three four-ring kits is rated at 4+ hours. Two underglow bundles add a Wheel tier built from strips instead. Here is what each price step buys, line by line.

The first four rows are complete four-ring kits. The XKalpha ring sells one at a time, and it plays a different role, covered below.
What Each Price Step Buys
$362.99, XKchrome 15-inch. The entry kit gives you four 15-inch aluminum rings carrying 132 RGB LEDs in total. The included XKchrome Bluetooth controller runs them from the XKchrome app, with music, speed and acceleration sync plus a DIY theme builder. The rings blink amber with your turn signals, and a red sensor wire tapped into the brake circuit turns them red when you brake. The instruction sheet also lists two 6-foot and two 12-foot wires in the kit.
$472.99, XKchrome adjustable. For $110 more, the same XKchrome kit comes with 15-18 inch adjustable rings in place of the fixed 15-inch size.
$551.99, XKmax. This step moves you to the XKmax line and addressable RGBW LEDs. Each ring pairs full RGB with a dedicated pure white LED, built for chasing patterns and flowing color. In the XKmax app you get 28+ pre-built chasing themes, a DIY builder, and sync to music, speed or acceleration. With the three sensor wires tapped, the rings can flash as turn signals, light up as brake lights, or go pure white when a door opens. The $189 gap from the XKchrome 15-inch kit buys RGBW in place of RGB, plus the XKmax app and its chasing-theme library.
$719.99, XKmax ULTRA 3-Row. The $168 jump over the standard XKmax kit puts three rows of RGB-plus-white LEDs in each ring. Ring size becomes a choice at this step: 16.5-inch or 15.5-inch, picked for the wheels you run. The app features and the three sensor wires carry over from the standard kit.
Add-Ons That Change the Total
Each kit sells its own extras, and these are the wheel-related ones:
| Add-on | Fits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| XKmax key fob, 1 or 2 | Both XKmax ring kits | $16.79 or $33.58 |
| 4-channel XKmax controller upgrade | Standard XKmax kit | $24 |
| XKmax extension wires, 2 or 4 pieces, 3 to 13 ft | Both XKmax ring kits | $14.38 to $81.56 |
| XKmax Wheel Ring add-on (MX-WHEEL-A) | XKmax Wheel Ring Kit only | $107.99 |
| Car/Truck Extension Wire Kit | XKchrome ring kit | $53.99 |
| Dual-mode Dash Mount Controller Upgrade | XKchrome ring kit | $22 |
| Extra 15 in ring and wire | XKchrome ring kit | $94.79 |
On both XKmax kits, you customize the lights in the app. The 4-button fob adds programmable quick-access buttons, and it is a $16.79 option on each.
A few sample orders show how the options stack up. The XKmax kit with one fob comes to $568.78. Add the 4-channel controller upgrade and it reaches $592.78. The ULTRA 3-Row with one fob comes to $736.78.
The $109.99 XKalpha ring is for builds that already run XKalpha lights. It works through XKalpha app control, and its controller is not included. XKGLOW sells it as an addition to existing XKalpha rock light and underglow kits. For XKmax rings, the matching single ring is the $107.99 XKmax add-on. Its product page tells you to check your original kit before purchasing.
That puts three control systems in the wheel lineup: the XKchrome app, the XKmax app and XKalpha app control.
The Bundle Route: Strips Instead of Rings
Two of XKGLOW's car accent kits each have a top tier named Interior + Underbody + Wheel. Check the kit table before you read Wheel as rings. In both kits, that tier adds four long flex strips, and no ring appears in either table.
The XKmax LED Underglow Light Kit lists its MX-CAR-PRO tier at $587.99, which is $138 more than the Interior + Underbody tier. Its instruction sheet says the long strips are intended as wheel well lights, though they can also go under the hood or in the trunk. The kit runs addressable RGBW on the XKmax app, and its kit table puts one RF key fob in this tier.
The XKchrome Underglow + Interior kit tops out with KS-CAR-PRO at $406.99, $93.50 above its own Interior + Underbody tier. It uses RGB LEDs and the XKchrome app.
Want real rings with your underglow? The XKmax underglow kit offers the four-ring XKmax set, controller included, as a $551.99 option. That matches the ring kit's own price. Added to the $449.99 MX-CAR-ADV tier, the order comes to $1,001.98. XKGLOW's guide to choosing car LED lights shows where wheel rings sit next to underglow and interior kits.
Install Time and Labor
Labor is the one cost with no number on these product pages. All three ring kits list 4+ hours of installation. Each ring bolts to the brake dust shield, and reaching it means pulling the caliper and rotor at every corner first. Our guide to truck wheel lights walks through that install step by step.
Two warranty lines bear on that bill. XKGLOW's warranty policy does not cover labor for removal or reinstallation, and both ring instruction sheets exclude damage from improper installation. The same sheets recommend a licensed professional, and they say to seek one if you are not comfortable uninstalling and reinstalling brake components.
Pricing the job is on you: each ring kit links a Find an Expert dealer locator, and the 4+ hour rating is the number to put in front of any installer.
The bundles list their own install times: 2-3 hours for the XKmax underglow kit family and 1-4+ hours for the XKchrome kit. The MX-CAR-PRO instruction sheet mounts its strips with 3M tape, with no brake parts to remove.
