Fire up a pair of animated eyes behind the glass of your Wrangler or Gladiator and the parking lot notices. That is the whole point of a Jeep windshield LED screen, and XKGLOW's XKPixel is built for it.
The XKPixel dual-screen kit puts two 20.5 by 6 inch LED panels on the inside of your windshield. You run them from a phone app with custom text, 50-plus built-in animations, or a music equalizer. It lists at $199.99.
XKGLOW labels it Universal Fit and shows it on a Jeep, a car, and a semi, so measure your glass before you order.
What an LED Windshield Screen Does on a Jeep
The XKPixel is a windshield LED sign: a pixel grid on the glass that shows whatever you send from the XKpixel app. Think of it as Jeep windshield lights you can reprogram from your phone. The XKPixel splits that display into two panels, each 20.5 by 6 inches, so the pair can follow the curve of the glass.
The two-screen design is meant to conform to a curved windshield or a semi's split windshield. Both panels run off one controller and never lose sync.
The pixels are large, diffused squares, which gives the grid a clean pixel-art look. XKGLOW rates the LED chips 50% brighter than the competition, and its side-by-side shot sets the XKPixel's pixel next to a small, dim LED dot on a competing panel.

What You Can Put on the Screen
Open the XKpixel app and you get four ways to fill the panels. Pick one of the prebuilt GIFs, type a custom message, build your own animation, or switch the panels into an equalizer.
Presets include eyes that look side to side and alert banners. XKGLOW's app screenshots also show Jeep-flavored GIFs such as "JEEP GIRL," "NO ROAD NO PROBLEM," and "BUILT NOT BOUGHT."
The DIY builder takes text, a photo, a GIF, or a drawing you make with your finger. Text gets a solid or gradient color, a scroll speed, and a scroll direction. A playlist loops your favorites in order. Default mode plays your chosen GIF every time the screens get power.
Music mode turns the panels into an equalizer. It listens through your phone's microphone, so it works with any streaming platform. The app also has a password option: a numeric code up to six digits helps stop a stranger's phone from connecting to your screens.
How It Mounts and Powers Up
The XKPixel takes a 12V input and draws up to 20 watts. Both screens connect to a cigarette plug switch, and a ribbon wire links the two panels. The job takes under an hour and runs in this order:
- Test first. Connect both screens to the cigarette plug switch, link the panels with the ribbon connectors, and plug in. If a screen shows defects, contact XKGLOW before you mount anything.
- Fit the suction cups to the brackets by pushing the threads through the holes and tightening the nuts.
- Clean the glass, attach the suction cup brackets to the screens, then press the screens onto the windshield.
- Scan the QR code to get the XKpixel app, power the screens, tap Add Device, and select the XKpixel device that pops up.
Leave the tape on the brackets: it cushions the suction cup brackets, so do not remove it or use it to stick anything. The suction cups let you move the screens and re-stick them whenever you want, with no tape to lose its grip over time.
Buyers mention two small gripes. One wishes the brackets snapped onto the screens, because the screens shift while you place them on the windshield. Another wishes the plug linking the panels were longer. Dry-fit the panels and check the cable reach before you press them down.
Does a Jeep Windshield LED Screen Fit a Wrangler or Gladiator?
XKGLOW sells the XKPixel as one universal kit, so there is no JK, JL, or JT fitment chart to check. The two panels add up to 41 inches of screen length, so measure the glass you plan to cover and decide where each panel sits.
XKGLOW's own photos show the kit mounted in a Jeep windshield, and one verified Jeep owner says it fits perfectly.
Check Your Local Laws Before You Run It
XKGLOW's instruction sheet tells you to check your local and state laws for proper use of the product. Buyers on the product page describe running theirs at events, at a car show, and in parking lots.
Price, Warranty, and Stock
The XKPixel lists at $199.99 and carries a five-year limited warranty. Register the product to activate it. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser. It excludes damage from improper installation, misuse, unauthorized repairs, and cosmetic conditions, and it covers repair or replacement only, not labor or shipping.
Check current stock on the product page before you plan a build weekend.
Build Out the Rest of the Jeep
The XKPixel runs on its own XKpixel app. XKGLOW's XKmax kits use the XKmax app, so pairing the XKPixel with an XKmax kit puts a second app on your phone. For the dash, the fiber-optic interior kit adds a line of RGB along the dash and doors, and it runs on the XKmax app.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do inside windshield LED lights mount to the glass?
The XKPixel hangs on suction cup brackets. Clean the glass, attach the brackets to the screens, and press the screens onto the windshield. You can move and re-stick them later. Leave the tape on the brackets in place, because it works as a cushion for the mount.
What power does a windshield LED screen need?
The XKPixel takes a 12V input and draws up to 20 watts. Both screens connect to a cigarette plug switch, and a ribbon wire links the two panels. To pair them, power the screens, open the XKpixel app, tap Add Device, and select the device that pops up.
What can a Jeep windshield LED screen display?
The XKPixel plays 50-plus prebuilt GIFs, scrolls custom text, and turns into a music equalizer. The DIY builder in the XKpixel app also takes a photo, a GIF, or a finger drawing. Playlists loop your favorites, and default mode plays your chosen GIF whenever the screens get power.
Will the XKPixel fit my Wrangler or Gladiator?
XKGLOW sells it as a universal kit, so there is no JK, JL, or JT chart to check, and its photos show it mounted in a Jeep windshield. One verified Jeep owner says it fits perfectly. The two panels add up to 41 inches of screen, so measure your glass first.
Are LED eyes for windshields legal?
Check your local and state laws first. XKGLOW's instruction sheet asks you to check them for proper use of the product, and the product page makes no claim about use while driving. Buyers there describe running theirs at events, at a car show, and in parking lots.
