The Cybertruck mods people notice after dark are lighting mods. XKGLOW builds five kits made for this truck: underglow, body-gap accent strips, a roof light bar, a fiber-optic interior, and a switch panel for the 12V accessories you add later.

The table below gives the price, install time, 48V handling and app from XKGLOW's product pages, and each entry adds what the page says about power, fit, and limits. Two universal kits follow the five, along with what their pages do and do not say about Cybertruck fit. For how the pieces work together as one build, read the complete Cybertruck lighting guide.

The 48V column is the Cybertruck-specific part. XKGLOW tailors these kits to the truck's 48V electrical system, so four come with a voltage converter and the roof bar takes 48V natively. XKGLOW unveiled its Cybertruck-specific LED lights at the 2024 SEMA Show, and the reveal video sits on its product pages.

1. Underglow: The XKmax Kit Built for the Cybertruck

Underglow is the mod that earns the parking-lot question: what kit is that? XKGLOW's XKmax LED Underglow Light Kit for Tesla Cybertruck (SKU MX-CAR-CT, $1,299.99) runs addressable RGBW LEDs: 16 million RGB colors plus a dedicated pure white LED. The housing is fully potted aluminum with an IP67 rating, and XKGLOW says the LEDs deliver 300% more brightness than standard XKmax, matching the illumination level of its rock lights.

The kit is tailored to the Cybertruck's 48V system, is rated at a 200-watt maximum, and comes with the voltage converter and an RF key fob. XKGLOW calls the design semi-flexible for under-body installation and lists the install at 3 to 4 hours. The XKmax app adds 28-plus pre-built chasing themes, a DIY builder, a customizable startup mode, and Music and Speed Sync.

One limit before you order: the page warns that the sensor wires for brake and turn signal control are not compatible with the Cybertruck. Treat this kit as show lighting. Our guide to Cybertruck underglow covers it in more depth.

2. Accent Strips: The XKmax Atomix Profile Kit

If underglow lights the ground, the XKmax Atomix Profile LED Strip Light Kit for Tesla Cybertruck (SKU MX-BG-CT, $635.99) lights the truck's own seams. XKGLOW describes a stealthy TRON-style glow within body panel gaps, bumpers, and running boards. The strips are RGB with chasing patterns, carry an IP67 rating, and stick on with the included 3M adhesive tape.

The converter in the box steps 48V down to 24V, the kit is rated at a 135-watt maximum, and an RF key fob comes with it. The XKmax app adds 28-plus themes and Music and Speed Sync, and the spec line lists the install at 3 to 4 hours. For how accent strips fit a full build, see our Cybertruck accent lighting guide.

3. Roof Light Bar: DRL Mode and a Real Driving Beam

One bar, two jobs. The XKmax Roof LED Off-road Light Bar for Tesla Cybertruck (SKU MX-CTLB, $1,199.99) runs RGB and pure white LEDs with chasing patterns in DRL mode. In Light Bar mode it throws what XKGLOW calls a superbright driving beam, wide and long range, and you switch between the two in the XKmax app. The tech specs list 300 watts and a maximum of 30,102 lumens, and the page rates the materials IP67.

The fit is Cybertruck-specific: a 304 stainless steel bracket tailored to the roofline and native 48V input, so no converter is required. XKGLOW says the streamlined front panel reduces drag and wind noise, and the install is listed at under an hour.

Read the note at the top of the page before you order. It says 2025 and newer Cybertrucks may need extra parts from Tesla if the truck did not come with the factory options. Those parts are the Roof Applique for Crossbars and the Roof Accessory Jumper Harness, Tesla part 1866224-00-F. The page lists no road-legal rating for the beam, so check your state's rules before you use it on public roads.

4. Interior: The XKmax Fiber Optic Kit

Open the door and this is the kit you see. The XKmax Interior Fiber Optic LED Strip Light Kit for Tesla Cybertruck (SKU MX-FO-CT, $989.99) pairs two kinds of strip. Cuttable, ultra-slim fiber optic strips cover the interior body panels, and flexible LED strips cover the footwells and door pockets, all in RGB with chasing patterns. One controller runs up to 10 zones from the XKmax app or a 4-button RF key fob.

A converter that steps 48V down to 12V and the key fob come in the box. The preconfigured LED strips mount with included 3M adhesive tape, and XKGLOW lists the install at 3 to 4 hours. The page also sells extension wires from 3 to 13 feet and add-on pods and strips, so you can add coverage later.

5. Control: The XKcommand Switch Panel

The XKcommand Switch Panel for Cybertruck (SKU XK-CMD-KIT-CT, $527.99) lights nothing by itself. It runs the 12V off-road accessories you add, such as light bars and cube lights, and it comes with a 48V-to-12V converter for the truck. Eight 15A output channels each carry a resettable fuse, and the app can combine channels for higher amperage. XKGLOW also lists it as IP67 rated.

You run it two ways at once, the physical panel and the XKcommand app, kept in sync. Every button can carry your own icon, image, or text. Install is listed at under an hour. This is the one kit on the list that uses the XKcommand app.

Two Universal Kits to Ask XKGLOW About First

XKGLOW's rock lights and wheel rings are universal-fit XKmax kits, not Cybertruck-specific ones. Neither product page mentions the Cybertruck, and both controllers list a 12V DC input, while the Cybertruck kits above are built around 48V. Ask XKGLOW what your truck needs before you order.

XKmax RGBW Rock Lights

The XKmax RGBW LED Rock Light Kit sells in 4-piece ($287.99), 8-piece ($443.99), and 12-piece ($599.99) sizes. The pods are addressable RGBW and run from the XKmax app, and only the 12-piece Pro kit lists a key fob. XKGLOW calls the fitment universal, compatible with all types of vehicles, and lists the install at 2 to 3 hours. Check the product page for its warranty terms.

XKmax Wheel Ring Lights

The XKmax LED Wheel Ring Light Kit (SKU MX-WHEEL-KIT, $551.99) puts four aluminum rings of addressable RGBW LEDs on the wheels, and the install is listed at 4-plus hours. The page says the rings fit all types of vehicles, but it publishes no wheel-size chart and no Cybertruck listing, so confirm the fit with XKGLOW first. See the product page for its warranty terms.

The Converter for 12V Gear

XKGLOW also sells a stand-alone 48V to 12/24V voltage converter for $69.99, in a 12V 30A model and a 24V 15A model. Its page names Cybertrucks among the intended uses. XKGLOW's warranty page excludes damage from incorrect voltage or improper wiring, so settle the power plan before you wire anything.

What Backs These Kits

Each product page shows its own warranty badge, and XKGLOW's warranty page says the period listed for an individual product takes precedence over the general policy. Check each kit's product page for its terms. XKGLOW has you register products to activate coverage. The warranty applies to the original purchaser, covers properly installed products, and requires proof of purchase.

Where to Start

Pick the first mod by the result you want. Underglow, at $1,299.99, is the headline look. The roof bar is the one kit here that adds a driving beam. The Atomix strips are the lowest-priced lighting kit at $635.99, and the switch panel is what runs 12V lights if you add them later. Each kit page links mounting instructions and a dealer locator under Install Help, worth a look before you commit to a 3-to-4-hour install. Build yours today.
