Edit Page Control Panel

The Cybertruck already stops people in a parking lot. The right lights make them walk over and ask what you did to it.

Cybertruck lights come with one catch. The truck runs a 48V electrical system, and 12V lighting needs a converter to run on it. XKGLOW unveiled its Cybertruck-specific lights at the 2024 SEMA Show. Each of its five Cybertruck kits is built around that 48V system. They cover a roof light bar, underglow, accent strips, a fiber optic interior, and a switch panel for 12V accessories.

Choosing Cybertruck Lights: Start With the 48V Question

Power decides what fits, so start there. The roof light bar takes 48V natively and needs no converter. The underglow, Atomix, and interior kits each ship with a voltage converter. The Atomix converter steps the truck's 48V down to 24V, and the interior kit's steps it down to 12V. The XKcommand panel brings a 48V-to-12V converter of its own.

Three limits are worth knowing before you order. The underglow listing warns that its brake and turn signal sensor wires are not compatible with the Cybertruck. A 2025 or newer truck may need Tesla's roof applique for the crossbars and roof accessory jumper harness for the bar, if it shipped without those options. And XKGLOW's warranty excludes damage from incorrect voltage or improper wiring, so use the converter a kit ships with.

Cybertruck Roof Light Bar: One Unit, Two Modes

With the bar in DRL mode, the roofline runs its own chasing color. Flip it to Light Bar mode and it throws a driving beam down the road. The XKmax Roof LED Off-road Light Bar does both from the XKmax app. The DRL uses addressable RGB LEDs plus pure white LEDs, and Light Bar mode adds a wide, long-range beam. XKGLOW lists a maximum of 30,102 lumens at 300W.

A 304 stainless steel bracket is tailored to the roofline, the materials carry an IP67 rating, and XKGLOW says the streamlined front panel cuts drag and wind noise. Install is listed at under an hour. On a 2025 or newer truck, confirm the Tesla parts above first. The page states no road-legal rating for the beam, so look up your state's auxiliary lighting rules before running it on public roads.

Cybertruck Underglow: The XKmax Kit

Underglow throws color onto the pavement around the truck. The XKmax LED Underglow Light Kit runs addressable RGBW LEDs: 16 million RGB colors plus a dedicated pure white LED. Control comes from the XKmax app or the RF key fob. XKGLOW says its LEDs deliver 300% more brightness than standard XKmax, matching the illumination level of its rock lights.

XKGLOW calls the aluminum housing fully potted and impact resistant, with an IP67 rating, and the semi-flexible design is made for mounting under the body. The listing rates the install at 3-4 hours. Treat it as show lighting: the sensor wires for brake and turn signal control do not work with the Cybertruck. For a closer look at the kit, see our guide to Cybertruck underglow.

Cybertruck Accent Lighting: The Atomix Profile Strips

The XKmax Atomix Profile LED Strip Light Kit is the quiet option. XKGLOW describes a stealthy TRON-style glow projected within body panel gaps, bumpers, and running boards. The strips are RGB with chasing patterns, not RGBW. They mount with the included 3M adhesive tape and top out at 135W, and the listing rates the install at 3-4 hours.

At $635.99 it is the lowest-priced lighting kit in the range, which makes it a practical first mod. For how accent strips work inside a full build, see Cybertruck accent lighting.

Cybertruck Interior Lights: The Fiber Optic Ambient Kit

The XKmax Interior Fiber Optic LED Strip Light Kit is the one kit here that lights the cabin. Cuttable, ultra-slim fiber optic strips cover the interior body panels. Flexible LED strips handle the footwells and door pockets. XKGLOW lists the kit at 144 LEDs per meter, and one controller manages up to 10 zones.

The included converter steps 48V down to 12V, the strips mount with 3M adhesive tape, and XKGLOW lists the install at 3-4 hours. Add-on pods and strips, sold on the kit page, extend coverage later.

Control and Power: XKcommand and the Converter

The XKcommand Switch Panel for Cybertruck lights nothing by itself. It runs the 12V accessories you add later, which XKGLOW's page says suit light bars and cube lights. Eight 15A channels each carry a resettable fuse and can be combined in the app for higher amperage. Buttons take your own icons, text, or images, and the panel and the XKcommand app stay in sync. It is IP67 rated and listed at under an hour to install.

The standalone 48V to 12/24V Voltage Converter comes as 12V at 30A or 24V at 15A, with up to 95% efficiency and an IP67 aluminum shell. XKGLOW says it also suits golf carts and marine equipment, which makes it the one universal part in this lineup. XKGLOW's rock lights and wheel rings are universal XKmax kits. Their pages never mention the Cybertruck and list a 12V controller input, so ask XKGLOW what your truck needs before you order them.

Headlights and Tail Lights: What XKGLOW Does Not Make

Cybertruck headlights and tail lights are a separate question, and the answer is direct: XKGLOW's Cybertruck range does not include a replacement headlight or tail light assembly. The roof bar's DRL mode is the nearest thing. If headlights are the project, read about common Cybertruck headlight mistakes before you choose Cybertruck headlights. For the rear, weigh cheap versus premium tail lights the same way.

Apps and Warranty

The roof bar, underglow, Atomix, and interior kits run from the XKmax app. It brings 28-plus pre-built chasing themes, a DIY builder, and Music and Speed Sync that follows your music or your speed. The underglow, Atomix, and interior kits also list an RF key fob. The XKcommand panel runs on its own XKcommand app, so a full build means two apps.

Each listing shows its warranty term. The Limited Lifetime Warranty covers eligible products, and a 5-Year Warranty covers the rest. Register your kit to activate coverage, and buy from XKGLOW or an authorized dealer, since the warranty applies only to those purchases.

Building Your Cybertruck Light Setup

Start with the problem in front of you. A dark roofline calls for the roof bar, an empty underbody for the underglow, and plain seams between the body panels for the Atomix strips. The fiber optic kit finishes the cabin, and the XKcommand panel waits until you add 12V gear. All four XKmax kits together list at $4,125.96, and the XKcommand panel brings the total to $4,653.95, before shipping and add-ons. Each listing also links its "Need Install Help? Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Cybertruck roof light bar cost?

XKGLOW's Cybertruck roof light bar lists at $1,199.99. That covers a dual-mode bar with an RGBW daytime running light and a driving beam, built for the truck's 48V system with no converter needed. A 2025 or newer truck may also need two parts bought from Tesla.

Does the XKGLOW roof light bar fit a 2025 or newer Cybertruck?

It can, after one check. XKGLOW's listing says 2025 and newer trucks may need two Tesla parts: a roof applique for the crossbars and a roof accessory jumper harness. You need them if the truck did not ship with those factory options. The bar's bracket is tailored to the roofline.

Can you add ambient lighting to a Cybertruck?

Yes. XKGLOW's interior fiber optic kit is made for the Cybertruck, with cuttable fiber strips for the interior body panels and flexible LED strips for the footwells and door pockets. It ships with a 48V-to-12V converter and runs from the XKmax app or the RF key fob.

Can you put underglow on a Cybertruck?

Yes. XKGLOW's XKmax underglow kit is made for the Cybertruck's 48V system and ships with the converter. It runs RGBW chasing effects from the XKmax app. The listing warns that its brake and turn signal sensor wires are not compatible with the Cybertruck, so the lights cannot follow your signals.

Does XKGLOW make Cybertruck headlights or tail lights?

Not today. XKGLOW's Cybertruck range covers a roof light bar, underglow, accent strips, an interior kit, and the XKcommand panel. It does not include a replacement headlight or tail light assembly. Our separate guides to Cybertruck headlights and tail lights cover that ground.
